If you buy this book, simply be aware that it is intended to steer you to their products and no give a truly unbiased view of this science. Contrary to loyal customers of this company, there are other places to get quality essential oils - don't be fooled by their rhetoric. br / br /The publisher, "Essential Science Publishing," is simply a front for the Young Living Essential Oils company, allowing them to publish things that wouldn't fly as marketing for the product - i.e. lies and hard-to-prove ideas.

A Writer's Reference with Integrated Exercises / Diana Hacker

I'm giving this book five stars because I feel it is a must for Mechanical Engineers and the author deserves five stars, but the publisher needs a lesson or two on book binding. br /If anyone from the publishing company reads this they may learn something about book binding from "The Penland Book of Handmade Books: Master Classes in Bookmaking Techniques". I know it is geared for the amateur book binder, but judging from the workmanship of this book, I believe you fit into that category quite well thank, you very much. You could make this up to a loyal customer by giving me a new copy. I'm easy to find, just follow the trail of pages I leave behind from this book on my way to work

A good quick reference for the APA style I needed for the duration of my course. It was relatively user friendly and provided the tools necessary for the format I needed. I would'nt spend hours reading it. To be honest, it is a boring book. But if you need something for a quick reference with regard to writing style, quotation format and grammar this is a pretty good all around book.

This is a great tool if you work with teenagers. It covers almost every topic that they struggle with in today's society. Many scripture references for each topic. I highly recommend this book for anyone who works with youth in a Christian setting.

This book is good if you need to pass the CLAD for California requirements. IF possible take a Clad/ELA class from a university and avoid the exams. The exams are difficult to prepare for.....Especially part three. Taking a class from a university better prepares you for the classroom than any exam ever will.

The Quick Reference guide is great. If you are student in counseling or clinic psychology this book will extend the life off your back, due to its light weight and smallness of stature. br / br /It contains the criteria for all mental illness in the DSM-IV-TR and is handy. br / br /One reviewer said that it is the only DSM that you will ever need. That person is correct

The particular item I ordered was mis-identified. I blame no one. They immeadiately refunded my money even before they received the book back. I call that excellent customer service. CarolPhysicians Desk Reference 2008: Hospital/Library Version (Physicians' Desk Reference (Pdr)) (It is actually an herbal and OTC PDR. I was shopping for the PDR of Drs. medical prescriptions.)

This book covers almost every diagnosis that is studied in occupational therapy. The topics review the most important aspects but still give enough detail so that you are not left wondering what else you needed to know. br /Highly recommend to any OT student, especially great to use for fieldwork.

I am a cardiovascular technician instructor and am always looking for quick reference materials to help with teaching as well as patient care. This book is outstanding! It is compact enough to carry around, but carries volumes of useful information. We even tested it out to see how comprehensive it is by looking up items that are frequently overlooked by other critical care references, such as Ashman's phenomenon and Wellen's T waves (both of which are in here). The information given is just enough to help you out, with great diagrams to further help with understanding or for memory aids. br / br /The mistake that I found is on page 397 of the 3rd ed. The diagram states that the illustration is of the Doppler spectal display of the mitral valve. The actual diagram is of a comparison of monomorphic vs. biphasic defibrillation waveforms (with the same diagram also shown on page 105). Even with this editorial overlook, this book is extremely valuable and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone working in any part of critical care medicine!
